Photographing the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin is usually a case of hit-and-miss with some luck thrown in. The place is swarming with photographers. And this year, we had some strong wind gusts that made capturing the blossoms’ beauty more difficult. Still, I enjoy the challenge of searching for interesting perspectives.
I love photographing Washington, D.C., in the early morning. I challenge myself to find different perspectives each time I go. The cherry blossoms have not peaked yet, but it was good to go to the Tidal Basin for some intelligence gathering. I just hope I can get a good spot next week.
